National Public Lands Day: River Trail work party

  • River Trail 48°21'56.4"N 114°10'03.7"W Columbia Falls, Montana, 59912 USA (map)

Celebrate National Public Lands Day with us on Saturday, September 25 by joining our River Trail work party! We will be working on trail construction of the 3-mile primitive trail along the Flathead River in Columbia Falls.

Volunteers will be chopping roots with shovels, axes, and loppers, raking and tossing debris, and raking smooth and tamping.

If you have them, please bring the following tools: mcleods, rakes, loppers, axes or Pulaski’s and shovels.

Please park in the parking area near the highway (turn left onto River Rd. after you cross the bridge, there’s a small dirt parking area on your immediate left after you turn).
