Join us Saturday, September 11 from 10-2 for a work party on the Gateway to Glacier Trail!
Here’s some of the work that needs to be done:
1. Shovel gravel along the fences by Coram that has built up along the fences
2. Start putting our new pile of chip rock into the canyons along those fences(no more round rock)
3. Cut the plastic off the straw waddles that were placed there years ago
4. Fix some blocks that have been moved from the retaining walls along the guardrail
Tools that could be helpful are - square flatnose shovels, industrial scissors to cut the waddle plastic mesh off, big buckets and shovels to move the chip rock to the canyons. We have a pile of new rock on the entrance to the gravel pit by Gladys Glen.
