Earth Day Trail Clean Up

  • Gateway to Glacier Trails - Lake Five Turnoff US-2 Columbia Falls, MT, 59912 United States (map)

Thursday, April 22 - Earth Day
4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Join us in cleaning celebrating Earth Day by cleaning the stretch of Gateway to Glacier Trail from the Lake Five turnoff to the Discovery Center. Trash bags and safety vests will be provided. Please wear layers and bring water, sunscreen, gloves and any snacks you may need. Wear sturdy shoes or boots and long pants as you may be working in taller grass. Ages 10 and up are preferred and all minors should be supervised as we will be working near a busy highway.

Vehicles must be parked clear of the roadway and on the same side of the road where volunteers are working. Volunteers are encouraged to carpool to the cleanup site to reduce the number of vehicles parked along the road. There is a small gravel area to park at the Lake Five turnoff.

Sign up here and please email our Program Coordinator with any questions.

We’ll see you on the trail!
